一月分(过年前的吃饭)

在新的一年，有机会遇到朋友约自己吃饭，也是一件很好的事。大家安排在一月八号在牛车水的八宝素食馆吃饭。这次有八个男生出席，所以大家就分了两桌。我和志平，天伟和weiji坐在同一桌。有叫了五样菜，也是好事。有讲到新年拜年的事情，大家没有很抗拒但也没有什么具体的计划，真的是接近的时候，才会想吧。不过，因为冠病的缘故，政府五人的限制，肯定会维持到过了农历年。实体的拜年，看来是不太可能的。网络拜年，大家也不是很有兴趣，真是看一步，走一步。

之后在牛车水走一下 ，大家没有停下来买年货的意思，自己也就没有买东西。之后，因为weiji 要吃去著名的糖水店（糖水先）吃甜品。我们改道去到BUGIS。因为我有驾车来，有一半的人坐我的车 （ 原来至贤早就把车卖了）。到了BUGIS，花了15分钟，找停车位，时间已经接近晚上10点了。看来糖水先应该要收档了。我们在附近的甜品店，找些东西吃。因为很迟了，很多甜品都卖完了，吃了甜品之后，大家就散场了。

在一月14号，迎来第二次和堂哥，堂妹们吃饭。自从上一次吃饭到现在，我们也没有再见过面了。本来想安一个星期六，但大家都没空，在商讨之下，勉强安在一个星期四。那里吃饭呢，大家没有特别的看法，就回到之前的吃饭地点 （八宝素食）。当天旁晚，我堂哥和两位堂妹都有来，但那位不熟的亲戚 （ emanual）因为有读夜校，所所以没有过来。我们一样点了好些食物来吃，这次，反而到我堂妹付钱 （借了上洗手间的理由，到柜台把钱给付了）。下次，应该到自己买单了吧。有讲起大家的状况，堂哥换工作了吧。堂妹们还是一样忙。没什么讲到新年拜年的计划，也没有大姑和小姑的消息（只知道小姑还过的不错吧）。吃了饭之后，大家就散场了。自己附近逛了一下，买了新年的东西，才回。

今年的新年气氛，比起去年来说，还是比较好的。人也比去年多吧 。 和去年不同的地方是，今年，几乎超过9成的人都打过疫苗。就算得冠病，也不会太严重。所以更多人都有出来。自己有走了一下，买了一些新年用品。想买一个“胖虎” 的洋娃娃，但今年的系列洋娃娃都不是很好看，所以没有买成。或许多两天，改去别的地方买吧！

接下来，要忙新年的东西了。虽然在新年期间，不太可能会有人来拜年，但整理一下，总要有一点过年的气氛。什么事情都要学会一个道理，永言配命，自求多福。最后，1月17号是yvonne yap 的生日，希望在远方的她能过的开心。

和自己说，不会谈恋爱的，一个人也可以很开心

Sungei buroh wetland reserve 半日游

I started the year 2022 with a hike at Sungei buloh wetland reserve (1st Jan). It’s a nature reserve that is nearest to Johor bahru. Although many of my friends were busy on that day, I managed to get Qide（奇德） to join me for a walk at the nature park. I met Qide near his house for a simple breakfast. After that, I drive to wetland reserve and reached the venue at around 0900am

It had been raining pretty heavy for 2 days since 30th Dec, and it’s still raining at the time we reached the park. I brought along my camera hopping that I would have to chance to practice shooting a bit. There were decent numbers of visitors that day although not as much as I though. We walked for half an hour or so around the east side of the park (around eagle point where we can see JB). Fortunately the rain stopped after 15 mins , and Qide find time to share with me some tips on taking photographs, which I think is beneficial.

The path to the west side of the park was temporary closed due to upgrading, we have to get back to my car and drove to the west side carpark. From there, we spent another 45mins or so looking at the scenery and taking some photos. For certain unknown reasons, we didn’t managed to cover the whole park (maybe we should try on the next visit). We went to bugis for lunch , and visit SimLim tower to look at the computers stall. I still haven’t decide I would really buy a desktop after all. But since my Mac book is still in working condition, I should wait a while to buy a note book ( maybe)

Overall, 2022 had a bad start. Singapore and Malaysia experience a 4-5days heavy rain from 30th dec to 3 jan 2022. There were floods in many places mostly in Malaysia johor and malacca, and my aunt (二姨) house has been flooded to around 1m and whole of the family have to shift to my uncle(二舅) house. To date , the Omicron Virus has spread prevalently throughout the world, and I wonder when can the virus ends in so that I could go overseas for vacation?

For er hu wise, the school didn’t call to ask if I need to extend another 12 lessons ( before the jan 5 deadline ). I guess I should stop after 12lessons, during these times, I should strive to learn as much, in so that I could at least learn to play some simple songs or music. Probably, I won’t be jogging for these one or two months

Looking forward, I should be fairly busy either in practising er hu or learning Japanese. For the coming lunar New Year, I probably have to give up any hope of going overseas (not even any chance I could even visit Malacca). Regards to 拜年, although I have contacted some of my friends, they don’t really seems to express any interest on meeting up whether face to face or thru Zoom. Just to tell myself, 勉强没有幸福。During that few days of Lunar New year, I should stay quiet at home, doing some reading and learning ， 总的来说，今年大概会比去年更惨，什么事，都得忍好几下，不会谈恋爱的，一个人也可以很开心。
