Aug 2013 blog( Some worries)

Recently, the COE of the commercial vehicles has been hitting record new high of 71k. it has been giving me a lot of worries as my van COE will expire end FEB 2014.

If i would need to extend my COE, i would have to pay 35.5K(for 5 years) at present level. but the news appears recently suggest many owners of diesel vehicle of euro-4(and below ) are encouraged to change their vehicle (to euro-5). this will spike an significant increase in amount of bidding to the cat C paper and probably push the price further up( and out of my possible budget)

if things continue as it is , it would be impossible for me to extend the COE. the question today is , would i need to sell my vehicle early? ( probably before nov4 , so i can save on the inspection fee and road tax?) so do i need to wait until end feb to scrap it?

i just hope i have the answers by end of sept. HOpe someone out to give me advice ( and maybe someone UP THERE)

My birthday coming again, and the same scenario appears, and EVERYONE is busy. How i wish my birthday could fall on Nov, Dec, jan( where people are more free), but then things cannot be changed.i have taken leave to celebrate on my own.

My mother say she would celebrate a few days early as she is busy on that day. Family memebers are always more important i would buy myself a gift (soft toy maybe), afterall, present giving is no longer popular nowadays. i should see no chance (people giving present) i strive to be more positive , save more (money). problem will be solved as it comes.
